Magnolia Studio's "Virtual" THX Stage is once again the scene of an exciting mix. 
Legendary japanese anime favorite 'Gunsmith Cats' showed their fur in Stage A for 
the final mix of their new animated adventures.

Golden Reel Award-winning  Lead Mixer Dennis Patterson and Effects Mixer Ed Carr, III 
made Stage A come alive for Supervising Sound Editor Brian Rizner.

Using the Magnolia arsenal of Synclaviers, Post Pros and a half dozen DA-88 digital 
multitracks, the new 'Gunsmith Cats' adventure was prepared for upcoming video
release.

After spending some time handling the controls of the console himself, 
Rizner says "The Logic 2 console is amazing to work on...the flexibility and 
amount of control you have during the mix is pretty unbelieveable! The ability to 
control and automate panning especially helped during the intense action scenes."

Following completion of the mix, the final audio elements were layed back to D2
Digital Video in Magnolia's audio/video transfer suite 1, and delivered on D2.

Expect to see the new 'Gunsmith Cats' adventure available in video stores soon.
